ABOUT THE POSITION:

This position requires the ability to work flexible scheduling including weekends, evenings, and holidays as well as outdoors, in all weather conditions.

SUMMARY:

Under direction, to maintain and repair parking meters, ticket issuing machines, automatic parking equipment, and other parking control devices; to collect and account for money from meters and other parking control devices; and to do related work as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.

Experience: One (1) year experience involving public contact and making independent decisions. Some experience involving the maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment is desirable.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION:

Must possess a valid California Driver’s license upon appointment and be insurable with the City’s standard insurance rate, unless otherwise approved by appointing authority.
