Job Description:
As a Dog Groomer at Certified Grooming House, you'll be responsible for providing grooming services to a variety of dog breeds, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and attention.
Your duties will include:
Bathing and drying dogs
Brushing and de-matting fur
Clipping and trimming coats to breed standards or client preferences
Nail trimming and grinding
Ear cleaning
Providing specialty services such as teeth brushing or flea/tick treatments as needed
Communicating with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and any special instructions for their pets
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Dog Groomer, with a portfolio of previous work preferred
Knowledge of different dog breeds and their specific grooming requirements
Proficiency in grooming techniques, including clipping, scissoring, and hand-stripping
Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and with compassion
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Certification from a recognized grooming school or program is a plus
Passion for working with animals and a commitment to their welfare
