Job Description:

Nick The Greek is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our customers while ensuring smooth and efficient transactions at the point of sale.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers as they enter the establishment.

- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.

- Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers.

- Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area.

- Assist with other tasks as needed, such as restocking shelves and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.

- Uphold company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service.

- Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent math skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

- Food handling certification (or willingness to obtain certification) is a plus.
