International Sales Assistant

Established international marketing company looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) sales assistant to handle shipping documentation and help grow exiting sales of food and agricultural products into Latin and South America. The company has decades old relationships with domestic growers and food processors, as well as export customers. And we need someone with good spoken and written English and Spanish skills to handle the shipping documentation, learn the business, develop relationships, and eventually help develop new sales. Besides language analytical ability, the right candidate should have good computer skills, a strong attention to detail, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Some educational degree is needed. Attention to detail is essential for shipping documentation, and confidence is necessary in dealing with suppliers and customers. We are an easy going, small ,and low stress company in terms of personnel, but we handle millions of dollars in sales, and we have a good reputation in the agricultural commodity business. So we need to pay close attention to all details. We are willing to train you in the specifics of our business, but we'd like you to know the basics of international trade.
