Seeking Waitstaff

Portico Italian Social Food is a modern trattoria specializing in handmade pasta and regional Italian cuisine, located on Main St Sebastopol . We cultivate a friendly, social atmosphere for people to meet and enjoy themselves with fine food and good music. We also entertain with Italian regional cuisine dinner parties once a month. Our restaurant is small and our staff is small, making work here less stressful.

Job Summary

We are seeking a personable waiter or waitress to join our team. In this position, you will create an intimate and high-quality dining experience for guests. You will answer customers' questions, assist them with their choices, take their orders, and deliver their meals with a smile. We are looking for a candidate who is warm, and calm under pressure, and who knows how to be a team player, and work with urgency throughout the shift.

Waiter/Waitress Duties and Responsibilities

Greet tables promptly

Answer questions about menu items, wine and other beverages

Gracefully suggest/upsell additional menu items, such as desserts and drinks

Accurately take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staff

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

Food handlers License

3 years server experience
