Thrift Store hiring Cashier and General Labor work in production

Wr are Avenue Thrift Supporting the boys and Girls Club (Boys and Girls Club Thrift Store) We are Located at 222 N Ventura Ave, Ventura.

We are hiring for two positions (see descriptions below) We are doing interviews this Thursday between 10 and 12. Come by our store for a quick casual interview. Let the cashiers now you are here to interview.

Position 1- general labor: Is Tuesday thru Friday 8:00-3:45

This position requires a lot of strength in moving very heavy carts, using dollies to move heavy items, and lifting heavy bags of clothing and heavy trashcans. Must be able to speak some English and be able to operate a fork lift. Experience with a bailer a plus. Looking for someone that is a self starter. Must be reliable and a team player. Requires being on your feet all day.

Position 2- Cashier: Is Friday 10-6:25 and Saturday 10-6:25 with opportunity for more hours. Being familiar with Clover or a similar POS system is a plus. We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, very reliable, a team player, honest, able to multi task. Bilingual preferred. This position does cashiering as well as cleaning up and rehanging clothing in the store.
