The role requires an individual with strong executive leadership, collaborative partnering and exceptional sales skills who can build and grow a team and evangelize a shared plan for Walmart’s go to market strategy with internal/external partners. The ideal candidate possesses commercial expertise; an ability to both envision process improvements while driving the existing business; and the initiative, influencing skills, ability to collaborate, and innovate with many constituencies to grow the business.Based in Northwest, AR, this role requires thriving in a team environment and maintaining high-level customer contacts and relationships. Provides leadership to the Walmart Team in the area of Commercial Development. As the Senior Manager Customer Development, you will. Managing partnerships to help develop and grow key strategic alignments, creating joint solutions, problem solving and accelerating the funnel of new business opportunities. In addition, you will lead a team of Sales Analysts to analyze current business trends and category performance.Main Responsibilities:

Manages direct reports team workload and provides supervision to ensure team delivers to clearly set goals and that the work is done accurately and efficiently. Responsible for enhancing competency levels for direct reports to further heighten their performance, growth, and development.

Standardize data and reporting across the team to drive efficiencies. Craft actionable insights and stories from large data sets (point of sale, consumer, market insights) and utilize to ensure each category has a win/win strategy for growth.

Build and drive joint strategy, business planning, and execution with internal and external partners that include defined go-to-market initiatives in support of Walmart.

Manage Walmart representation in Category/Sanofi strategic planning, annual business planning, and budgeting.

Strategy Plan Development

Develop and manage key internal relationships throughout Cross-Functional teams within HQ (Commercial (+eComm) ,Shopper, Finance, Supply Chain, and Category Team

Deliver strategic leadership to the cross functional team.

Construct and build out new organizational processes/structure.

Share best practices across processes/categories to help enable efficiency and ease for Sales/Commercial organization.

Foster a culture of collaboration between the Sales teams and HQ teams to ensure that key skillsets/opportunities can be leveraged to ensure all initiatives are managed effectively and delivered in line with Sanofi’s expectations.

Educate Walmart’s Strategy/Business to key stakeholders at all levels of the organization and represent the voice of Walmart within Sanofi

Be a key source of insight into current Walmart business performance, competitive/category landscape, strategy, and news.

Drive adoption, across Walmart of processes & business opportunities, which improve Category/Sanofi performance with the aim to generate incremental revenue, margin expansion, brand enhancement, and optimized supply chain.

Own, coordinate, and manage the following processes:

MOR meeting prep

QBR / Quarterly Category Reviews

Annual Commercial Planning Process

One point of contact, for HQ & Sales, around visibility to the following:

Walmart Ad Hoc Business Requests

Ongoing Business Performance and Insights

About You:Experience

10+ years’ experience working with Walmart at the headquarter level. 3-5 years' experience pharma company, FDA or other relevant experience.

5+ years' experience utilizing Nielsen or IRI syndicated data with the ability to analyze and evaluate several sources of data to develop actionable insights.

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong presentation and negotiation skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university

Valid Driver's License is required
