The Assistant General Manager is responsible for ensuring Front of House success by acting in place of the General Manager while they are out, helping foster a culture of excellence by owning the staffing and onboarding of FOH team members, and ensuring the team has the tools and equipment necessary for success.

As the primary leader of service, our AGM is directly involved in cultivating a culture of Omotenashi, a Japanese tradition of hospitality focused on Warmth, Sincerity, Attention to Detail, and Discrete Personalized Service.

Specific Points of Accountability Include:

-Lead Service 4-5 shifts per week by fulfilling opening and closing management duties and working the floor alongside your team to lead by example and provide service that exceeds guests expectations.

-Own staffing by posting, interviewing, hiring, on-boarding, and training FOH team members.

-Support in the maintenance of facilities and equipment by identifying opportunities/issues and coordinating vendors.

-Communicate effectively with all team members and fellow managers to support the unification of our efforts.

-Ensure team members have the training and tools to succeed.
