Journeyman Commercial Electrician
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings
- Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine electrical layouts
- Install wiring, conduits, fixtures, and other electrical components
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs as needed
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure proper installation of electrical systems
- Test electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial electrician
- Proficient in frame carpentry for installation purposes
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in the trade
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, both low voltage and high voltage
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately
- Experience working as an industrial electrician is a plus

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
