Business Analyst

Description We are seeking a Business Analyst in Richmond, Virginia. The successful candidate will focus on improving our current business processes, documenting these improvements, and ensuring the optimal use of QuickBooks for our accounting processes. This role is a contract opportunity that does not have a specific duration.Responsibilities Document existing business processes and make recommendations for improvement Ensure the training guides for reconciliation are regularly updated Optimize the use of QuickBooks for various accounting processes Conduct gap analysis to identify areas of improvement in business processes Create and manage Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) Utilize design skills to create streamlined processes Apply Microsoft Excel skills to analyze business data Understand and apply knowledge of Business Process Functions in daily work. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role or similar position Proficient in performing Gap Analysis Knowledgeable about Business Process Functions Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents Skilled in Design principles and methodologies Experience with QuickBooks for business accounting tasks Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, IT or related field is preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
