Customer Service Representative/Accounts Receivable
Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our clients' team as a Customer Service Representative/Accounts Receivable. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, processing payments, and ensuring timely collection of accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding account balances, payment issues, and general inquiries.
Process customer payments accurately and efficiently using our accounting software.
Reconcile customer accounts and investigate any discrepancies or issues.
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up with customers on past due invoices.
Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in customer service, accounts receivable, or related field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
