Shop Hand/Parts Installer Needed ASAP Auto Upfitter Truck Builder
Shop hand/parts installer needed. This position is full time Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5 pm (1hr for lunch from 12-1). No weekends or overtime will be needed. Knowledge basic hand tools & pneumatic tools will be helpful. All tools are provided. Being dependable is a MUST. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CANT SHOW UP EVERYDAY ON TIME
I dont need anyone mowing the lawn here or anyone who can cook a mean rack of ribs; I need a handy shop man who knows how to use air tools and basic 12V wiring.
What will you be doing? Working inside our heated 6 bay shop with 6 other guys and a shop foreman taking new trucks apart (mirrors, interior, bumpers, grills, etc.) and installing newly painted parts back on along with fiberglass running boards, wiring lights, wiring & installing air ride systems, wiring & installing auxiliary fuel systems, replacing seats, carpet, etc.
You will need to know the "ins & outs" of 12V wiring, fuse blocks, relays, trailer wiring, etc. Don't lie about this either; It will become all too obvious on your first day.
Being handy is required. We will train you on how we do everything.
Compensation will start with your level of experience with opportunity to earn more after a probationary period and performance evaluation. You will be paid EVERY Friday at the end of the work day. Paid time off and sick time will be offered after probation period. Average tenure at Western Hauler is 25 years. PAY WILL DEPEND ON HOW HANDY YOU ARE. I cannot say what the compensation is in the ad but we pay enough to keep employees a long time, we give raises, and we get rid of people who don't show up.
