StanCraft Boats is seeking experienced and novice craftsmen alike to become a member of a growing team in our Composites and Lamination Department. We combine the beautiful tradition of high-end African Mahogany boats with modern technologies and reinforcements. Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED desired

Valid State issued Driver's License

Carpentry and/or laminating experience

Mold Making and/or Master Model Making

Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol test pre-employment

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of proper use of hand and power tools

Knowledge of carpentry, wood working, wood lamination

Knowledge of epoxy, polyester resins, fiberglass and carbon fiber is a plus

Learn and understand the chemistry and functions of materials used in our shop

Ability to retain new information and adapt to new concepts

Ability to make decisions with multiple objectives and implement in a safe and efficient manner

Ability to work without direct supervision and manage time effectively

Ability to stand, reach, crouch, kneel, and use a ladder all day

Job Duties:

Read and understand drawings, blueprints and measurements or new concepts

Learn company procedures and best practices

Make consistent and accurate parts as directed

Work closely with others and independently as needed

Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Job Details:

Pay $18 - $23 hourly DOE

Opportunity for regular raises and annual reviews

Monday – Thursday 10-hour shifts
