Weekend Ground Crew / Fueler

Blue River Maintenance, a full-service aircraft maintenance shop located at PAQ in Palmer, AK, is currently seeking an on-call Fueler/Ground Crewmember to join our team.

In addition to servicing a variety of small aircraft; including Blue River Aviation’s fleet of flight school aircraft; we work with Northern Petroleum Services to provide on-demand and self-service fueling (Jet-A and AvGas) at the Palmer airport.

As a ground crewmember, your primary responsibilities will include:

routine inspections and maintenance on all fuel trucks;

operating Northern Petroleum’s fuel trucks;

assisting with ramp operations and fueling for flight school aircraft;

general facilities maintenance and repair;

aircraft & vehicle detailing, as needed;

other duties as assigned.

Previous experience operating heavy machinery and driving high GVWR trucks preferred.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will be:

hard-working;

reliable;

a team-worker, capable of being productive independently;

able to take and follow instruction, communicate and perform tasks as assigned.

PAY: DOE, starting at $20.00/hour

SCHEDULE:

8am to 6pm Friday-Monday Full weekend availability required. Position open immediately.
