Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Case Manager to join our team. The Legal Case Manager will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of our legal cases, ensuring efficient workflow, and providing support to attorneys and clients. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

-Manage a caseload of legal matters from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.

-Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and third parties to gather necessary information, documents, and evidence

-Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy

-Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, calendars, and deadlines

-Communicate with clients regarding case status, updates, and next steps

-Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witnesses.

-Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and external parties, such as courts, opposing counsel, and doctors.

-Provide administrative support to attorneys, such as scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and preparing for meetings.

-Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards, as well as firm policies and procedures

Qualifications:

-Experience working as a legal assistant, paralegal, or case manager in a law firm or legal environment

Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and concepts is a plus, but we are willing to train.

-Knowledge in legal research and writing, including drafting legal documents and correspondence.

-Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively

-Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work product

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and staff

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

-Knowledge with EAMS, JETFILE, and A1 a plus.
