Full-time electrician needed

Duties: Working as a member of the Maintenance department, the person in this journey-level position performs skilled tasks including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic systems. This person must also inspect, test, calibrate, repair, troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain a wide variety of electrical/electronic equipment and software related to wastewater collection, treatment, and reclamation facilities; research, design, procure, and install equipment and/or upgrade existing electrical/electronic systems; conduct routine maintenance on electrical/electronic equipment, motor controls, variable frequency drives(VFD’s), Motor Control Centers (MCC’s), lighting on processes, buildings, and physical structures. This person may also assist other Maintenance staff in learning basic electrical and instrumentation system installation, repair, and maintenance.
Education/Experience/Knowledge: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and five years of journeyman Industrial level experience in the design, repair, installation, and maintenance of Electrical Systems and equipment used in an industrial facility or a CWEA Instrumentation II or higher certificate or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. An Associate's Degree from an Accredited Institution is highly desirable. Knowledge of the wastewater industry is a plus. For a full description, please see the job description.
