Part time - 30/35 hours will room for more hours during holidays

Responsibilities:

Sharpen and adjust cutting equipment

Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery

Cut, bone, or grind pieces of meat

Cut or prepare meats to specification

Store meats in refrigerators or freezers at the required temperature

Keep inventory of meat

Clean equipment and work areas to maintain health and sanitation standards

Assist customers with their meat orders

Skills required:

Excellent time management

A proactive attitude

Ability to work as a team

Ability to work in cold refrigerated rooms where meat is stored, and use sharp cutting tools safely

Ability to push/pull/lift of 20+ pounds

Notifies manager of any problems or issues that could affect the quality of meat products sold to customers
