At ManTech International Corporation, you’ll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Mid-Level BI Developer to join our team in Alexandria, VA.In this role, you will transform large, complex datasets into presentable dashboards and reports for business decision-making. This work will be performed at the client site. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a team supporting one of our DOD clients using your data engineering and data wrangling skills to help create the data foundation needed to support this important work. This position is on-site.Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports

Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes

Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data presented in the dashboard

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs

Troubleshoot data-related issues and maintain the Power BI infrastructure

Train end-users on how to use the dashboards and reports effectively

Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, updates, and best practices

Knowledge and experience with the following systems a plus, e.g., Contractual: Contract Reporting, Contingency Acquisition Support Model (cASM), Virtual Contracting Enterprise (VCE)/Paperless Contracting File (PCF), VCE-Business Intelligence (BI), Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), and Federal Procurement Data System – Next Generation (FPDS-NG), System for Award Management (SAM), and Vantage

Basic Qualifications:

8 years of software development experience

3 years of experience as a Power BI developer

3 years working with databases, data modeling, data management, and data curation

2 years working with structured and unstructured data sources

Data preparation experience using SQL or scripting languages to create ETL processes, perform data cleansing, and check data integrity

Experienced in tools and systems on MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, Power BI, and DAX

Experience developing with leading BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, Tableau)

Must be able to create interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in Power BI

Experience performing data extraction, cleansing, and wrangling on data sets from internal and external sources

SQL RDBMS experience - preferably Microsoft SQL Server

Ability to work independently as well as in small teams to problem-solve

The employee may occasionally be required to travel away from duty assignment

Preferred Qualifications:

Consulting experience a plus

Bachelors in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field preferred, but not required

Security Clearance Requirements:

Active TS/SCI is required

A non-disclosure agreement must be signed
