Job DescriptionSystems Administrator/Contractor position responsible for the maintenance, operation, and planning of enterprise Milestone Camera and Axis Camera technical systems. Responsible for leading capacity planning, functional and technical design of Milestone/Axis Camera enterprise systems, and resolution of complex problems. Working knowledge of Milestone Camera systems and Axis Cameras

  Installation of all operating systems, and associated new releases and upgrades

  Manages system patching, security updates

  Monitors, tunes, diagnoses, and resolves operating system problems

  Develop and maintain a backup/recovery strategy for all operating system software

  Configures and defines system resources such as SAN & NAS disc space, printers, and tape libraries

  Utilizes administrative subsystems to schedule system tasks

  Reviews new software to determine its compatibility with existing software and systems

  Evaluates and recommends to management complex software products, systems and tools as to their application to computer systems, and plans for their inclusion into system operation

  Diagnoses and resolves software and hardware problems

  Organizes and prepares technical documentation for complex software products, components, and tools
