(Part-time) Workers' Compensation Contract Attorney Needed

Small Pasadena based Workers' Comp. firm is seeking a highly skilled CA Workers' Compensation Attorney to provide (very) part-time, fully remote/contract legal services.

Think of this as a side gig where you will analyze case details and provide analysis and recommendations. You will also tackle assignments (drafting documents, rating reports etc.). However, there is NO set schedule. You can work whenever you want, around your other obligations.

Very part-time. To start, the position will be a FEW HOURS per week. There is a possibility for more hours in the future if the position works well.

As our designated Workers' Compensation Attorney, you will be responsible for analyzing case information and providing recommendations to ensure our that our case strategy is aligned with industry standards.

Your expertise in CA Workers' Comp. and analysis will be crucial, so you must understand CA Workers' Compensation in and out. Please understand that the goal of this position is to save us time so a thorough understanding of Workers' Comp. is required.

Experience:

- Licensed Attorney in CA.

- 3 - 5 years of CA Workers' Compensation Experience.

- Strong knowledge of WC compensation principles, practices, and regulations.

- Proficient in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw;

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex cases and rate reports.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for tasks and/or presenting findings.
