DENTAL ASSISTANT NEAR DTLA

More than 1 YEAR of experience is a PLUS. NEW GRADS WELCOME

MUST BE AVAILABLE ON SATURDAYS (8 AM TO 2 PM).

Spanish language capability is a PLUS

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.

Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and tray setups for dental procedures.

Greet and prepare patients for treatment.

Take digital x-rays.

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.

Conduct work in compliance with office policies and procedures, safety and OSHA guidelines.

Record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patient.

Provide postoperative instructions as prescribed and directed by (employer).

Record treatment information in patient records.

Maintain a clean and tidy back office.

Other duties and tasks as directed.

REQUIREMENTS

DA education course/certification.

X-Ray certification.

Coronal polishing certification.

Good communication skills.

Ability to perform detailed work according to established formats and protocols.
