Full Job Description
All Positions - Min. 5 years Experience Required
Washington based general contractor seeks experienced Superintendent/Foreman/Carpenters/Laborers for primarily Heavy Civil, Water/Wastewater projects throughout the west coast of the United States.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years construction Superintendent experience
- Strong leaderships skills
- Can-do attitude, a motivator in getting work done on time and within budget
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Great communication skills with clients and team members
- Understands the importance of working as a team within the organization and has the ability to assist subcontractors to assure their success on the project
- Strong capabilities toward the development & implementation of the weekly 5 week project schedule
- Coordination of all inspections & sub-trade's work
- Set an example on-site regarding safety policies and project specific policies
- Certification of OSHA 10 & 30 preferred
- Performance meets or exceeds client's expectations (customer driven)
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel), mobile & cloud based technologies proficient (Superintendent position only)
- Administration of daily reports & photos, field PO's and conducting safety meetings(Superintendent position only)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to lead, manage and accept accountability for all field activities, safety and reporting functions of an assigned project(Superintendent position only)
- Ability to coordinate subcontractors and self-perform work to deliver a project on schedule(Superintendent position only)
- Competent in reading blueprints, specifications and knowledgeable in commercial construction methods(Superintendent/Foreman position only)
- Knowledgeable in municipal requirements for reporting, inspections and project close out(Superintendent/Foreman position only)
- Foresight to predict and ability to solve problems with available resources(Superintendent/Foreman position only)
- Ability to perform physical tasks common to a carpentry position
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year DOE
