Caregiver needed for Assisted Living Facility

Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Caregiver. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our residents in a safe and comfortable environment. Duties:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Support residents with mobility, including assistance with walking and transferring

- Support residents with medication management and administration as directed by healthcare professionals

- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff

- Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interactions to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being

- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents

- Ensure resident safety by following established protocols and procedures

- Respect and uphold resident rights and dignity at all times

- Provide compassionate care for residents with dementia or memory care needs

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Meal prep

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in assisted living or a related healthcare setting is preferred but not required

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- A Caregiver certification is required

- Knowledge of dementia care principles and techniques is a plus

- Ability to lift and move residents with assistance as needed

- Basic first aid knowledge is desirable

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues

- Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality care and support to seniors
