Sales Driven Plumbing Technician Needed

Overview:

As a Plumbing Technician with Repipe Express, you will be responsible for arriving at dispatched calls on time, providing estimates with multiple options, installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. You must have clean, presentable company attire. At times, you may find yourself in an upsell opportunity in which you shall fully embrace. Most importantly, you must keep the customers best interest in mind and remember you are representing a company that is looking to continuously retain its’ customers.

Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.

- Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems.

- Receive dispatch notifications to jobs, write estimates, and convert sold estimates to invoices all on a company-provided iPad.

- Water heater repairs & installations. Clogged drains (must know how to use all cable machines), pipe repairs, garbage disposals, toilet replacement & repairs, sink repair & replacement, crawl space & under home repairs, and sewer mainline repairs.

- Use hand tools, power tools, propress tools, and occasionally welding equipment as needed and safely.

- Conduct regular maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

- Be able to upsell smaller jobs into major jobs.

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions.

- Keep the work van clean and neatly organized at all times and adhere to any maintenance work needed.

- Be willing to learn, improve skills, and be a team player.

Requirements:

- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for commercial driving purposes.

- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- Analytical, focused on quality, and results-driven.

- Must be available to work full shifts plus overtime.

- Self-motivated, organized with a can-do attitude.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a changing team.

- Capable of providing excellent customer interactions.

- Committed to arriving on time and ready to work.

- Committed to following safety procedures.

- Appropriate time taken for rest and meal breaks.

- Must pass mandatory background check.

Grooming:

All employees must maintain a well-groomed appearance (i.e. business-like haircut, clean shaven or neatly trimmed beard.) This includes wearing company provided uniforms at all times on duty. Technicians must wear dickey and/or dickey style pants. Shorts are not allowed. Steel toe boots are not required but must keep shoes clean and wear shoe booties when entering clients home.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday - 8am - 5pm

Rotating Saturdays - 8am - 4pm

Hourly Pay + Overtime Pay + Commission Pay
