Caregiver needed 3xweek

3 day caregiver

Hi we are looking for a caregiver for my mom in San Marcos, CA. She had a stroke 10 years ago that has left her with right sided hemiplegia and aphasia. She is mainly bed/wheelchair bound, but can use a walker occasionally and we do have a Hoyer lift. Job duties include: hygiene, showering, food preparation and light cleaning. The ideal candidate would be someone patient and soft spoken with a good sense of humor. She is 5’8 and weighs about 180 lbs, so strength and good body mechanics are a must. My brother lives in the home and is usually around to help, however the plan would be to phase him out eventually.

Looking for 3 days/week preferably Monday-Wednesday 3:30-9:30. Days can be flexible with a possibility to alternate with other caregiver if needed. Pay based on experience starting at 35and will increase every 6 months as a retention bonus.
