The Finance Chief Risk Office (FINCRO) provides risk management oversight of the Finance function, including effective risk challenge and mitigation of risk for capital, liquidity, interest rate risk and treasury investments, and ensures compliance with all risk-related regulatory requirements. In addition, the team oversees the key risk management methodologies and calculations, including CECL and IFRS9 for credit reserves, and Basel Advanced RWA.Within FINCRO, Regulatory Capital Risk Management (RCRM) provides independent risk management oversight for capital management, planning and forecasting, recovery and resolution planning, capital interpretations, and capital calculations and reporting. More specifically, the Capital Planning Review Team (CPRT) leads the holistic independent review and challenge of the capital management and planning process across the capital planning continuum, and associated policies, procedures, and risk limits.The CPRT Head of Quarterly Multi-Year Multi-Scenario Forecast (QMMF) Review and Analysis (Director) is responsible for leading (1) the comprehensive independent reviews and challenges of ongoing and quarterly business and capital planning forecasts (including CCAR/DFAST), and (2) data analytics initiatives to conduct analyses across different businesses, functions and product areas.Responsibilities:

Determine the approach to and lead the independent review and challenge of quarterly forecasting . Review components include methodologies, results, governance, and processes

Lead and oversee (1) deep-dive analysis related to specific forecast components (e.g., P&L, balance sheet, RWAs) to enhance understanding of drivers of the firm's financial forecasts and inform decision-making, and (2) ad-hoc analysis, including competitor/peer analysis

Accountable for presenting analytical insights to senior stakeholders across first and second lines of defense as well as reporting of review and challenge results to senior management (e.g., Capital Committee, Board), regulators and Internal Audit.

Oversee the development of controls and automation (including development of analytical tools) across the reporting process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information presented to senior management and overall support a strong control environment across CPRT

Perform people management activities over the QMMF Review and Analysis team (e.g., hiring, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions)

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in a top-tier bank or comparable role, including significant exposure to and direct management of the capital management and planning and/or review processes

Hand-on experience with regulatory examinations and remediation, thorough understanding of regulatory requirements (SR 15-18, Basel, etc.), capital management and planning methodologies

Experience managing large datasets and extrapolating insights

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; additional experience with Tableau, SQL, SP&P CapIQ/SNL or Bloomberg preferred

Professional Skills

Excellent written and verbal executive level communication skills for interactions with senior management, regulators and Internal Audit

Ability to influence and lead stakeholders across organization at a senior level using sound judgment and successful execution, and understanding how to operate effectively across diverse businesses

Ability to challenge business management and appropriately escalate

Ability to assess complex issues through root cause analysis and other analytical techniques; structure potential solutions; drive to resolution with senior stakeholders

Highly motivated with attention to detail, team oriented, and strong organizational skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred with concentration in Economics/Finance.
