Detox Therapist

Work at CleanseMarin as a detox therapist! We use the open LIBBE colonic system, ionic detox foot bath, infrared sauna, cleanse programs with organic drinks made in house, and high end nutraceuticals. This position offers a unique perspective of in depth cleansing & how detox can be leveraged to heal the body.

Required:

-ability to lift 40lbs (5 gallon water jug)

-ability to work a self directed day (must be able to use the online booking system, use a smart phone to check booking system, etc. & run on time)

-a passion for holistic healthcare & a positive demeanor towards health

-respect for the body’s natural healing processes

-showing up to work on time (reliability is a must)

-ability to clean in similar capacity to hospital cleaner or doctor office (willingness to learn how to prevent cross contamination & strictly adhere to FDA registered equipment manufacturer’s guidelines)

-ability to work Friday 9-4/6:30 Saturday 8:30am-3pm

-must speak perfect English and be able to give instructions to clients

Responsibilities

-ability to explain therapies & educate clients on all offerings (accurately describe therapies & explain their impact and function on/in the body; detail cleanse programs and book clients for services)

-clean & service all equipment according to manufacturers guidelines (this will be presented thoroughly during training, but adherence to proper maintenance of equipment & a commitment to proper maintenance & cleaning is non negotiable)

-client education of basic detox support i.e. castor packs, dry brushing, gua sha, detox baths, etc. (training will be provided)

-Must have excellent communication skills capable of articulating benefits of featured therapies

-must be able to deal with the pace of an appointment based business (run on time in a busy environment)

-be a solution oriented person and quick to solve problems & maintain a positive outlook

-Ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with clients & team

Ideal Candidate: possesses an interest in natural medicine & holistic health (seeks natural medicine for themselves before conventional drugs). A strong desire to search outside the western medical system for answers on how to address health and well being. Candidates with a certificate in colon hydro therapy or holistic nutrition will be strongly considered for higher pay based on experience in the industry.

Learn about cleanse programs and help clients to understand that they can heal their bodies. Learn about coffee enemas, castor oil packs, infrared therapies, light therapy, ozone, detox baths, and dry brushing. Learn cleanse protocols to help rid the body of yeast, mold, fungus, & parasites. Compensation: $25/hr + tips

The tips at CleanseMarin are a calculated part of the pay structure. As you can service up to 5 people at once, there is significant opportunity for receiving tips ($10-$60/hr for a job well done is expected). If you have a colon hydro therapy certificate or a certificate in holistic nutrition, a higher hourly may be negotiated dependent on work experience. References will be checked & a positive attitude towards work is necessary to maintain a healthy ethos at CleanseMarin for our clientele. As we are service based, a spirit towards being of service and helpful is important at CleanseMarin. The ability to take care of yourself, eat appropriately and stay hydrated throughout your day, take a lunch as you need to maintain balanced blood sugar is also important. This job involves physical demands (bending down, reaching, etc. to clean).
