Carpenter / Laborer

General contractor looking for help with various construction-related work. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in rough/finish carpentry. Foundation, wall & roof framing, doors, windows & siding, deck and fence building experience is a plus. Currently have 3+ months of work on the books with more coming. Minimum qualifications are: you must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs correctly, must be familiar with general construction practices, must understand the importance of on-the-job safety practices & be able to avoid dangerous & unsafe situations. Critical thinking & attention to detail will be important! Must be able to work independently on simple tasks with little instruction. I can help train you, but you must be ready to learn fast! It's a temporary position to start but could turn into full-time work for the right person. Must have reliable transportation and your own tools. Hourly pay rate will depend on experience.
