Heavy Equipment Operators
Capital Paving & Construction (CPC) – Rocky Mountain Region is a heavy highway and civil construction company in Colorado. We are hiring Heavy Equipment Operators for a project on US 40, 12 miles north of Kremmling. Future work will be along the front range with potential for remote projects within Colorado.

JOB DUTIES:
o Operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner under varying weather conditions, while exposed to dampness, fumes, dust, electrical, mechanical and traffic hazards.
o Routine maintenance on the equipment, to include keeping equipment clean and operable.
o Communicate with foreman and coworkers to the daily job specifications.
o Perform general labor duties when necessary and work with labor crew when not operating equipment.
o Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary.
o Work with powered and non-powered hand tools (i.e., rakes, shovels, etc.).
o Work in a variety of positions throughout the day including standing, stooping, bending at the waist, at waist level, shoulder height and above the head.
REQUIREMENTS:
o Reliable transportation and willingness to travel with some overnights possible.
o Ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions including hot and cold temperatures and humidity.
o Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used on construction projects.
o Ability to properly follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA requirements for safe working procedures and environments.
o Willingness to undergo a background check, physical, drug, and alcohol testing.
