Forklift Operator - Shipping/Recieving for Pallet Racking Company

SEE PHOTOS - We have orders to pull from these stacks. Can you pull all the orders we have from all around our warehouse and yard, strap these materials, load them on trucks? Can you re-strap and bundle, and put away in an organized fashion to keep our warehouse safe and clean? Can you use a bandsaw or chopsaw power tool to cut the uprights down from 16' to 12'?

While you're pulling one of our orders, 2 other things need to happen at the same time - can you manage that?

Do you have experience operating a sit-down or standup forklift?

You will report to our warehouse manager who will assign tasks for you to help us pull orders, load/unload truck, bundle/strap/organize warehouse storage racking and shelving materials like Uprights/Beams/Decks - (Green and Orange Pallet racks like the ones you find at Costco)

Golden State Material Handling is looking for 1 individual who can:

1) Open up our warehouse, bring our trucks and materials outside the yard every morning to prepare to pull warehouse pallet racking orders we have for will call or delivery for the day/week.

2) Work and coordinate with our warehouse team and office sales persons to prioritize orders that need to be gathered (Pallet rack uprights, beams, and decks), occasionally work with power tools and hand tools, including steel bander to prepare orders for will call/deliveries.

3) Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, stackers, pallet jacks, etc) to gather and move materials.

4) Organize and keep our warehouse maintained and safe.

5) Ideal candidate would:

Show up 7:00 am at our Hayward warehouse.

Open up rollup doors and bring flatbed trucks outside w/drivers

Move material inside to outside to prepare for the day/week order pull.

Receive Multiple orders to pull from our sales team and prioritize which orders need to be pulled.

Able to multitask as when an order is being pulled, other orders may also need to be pulled at the same time.

Also customers and deliveries need to be attended to sometimes during the pulling of orders/warehouse work.

Once orders are pulled for the day/week, before each day bring all materials back inside warehouse.

Bring trucks inside warehouse, and ready for next day.

Ideal candidate would be someone who has experience in working a forklift inside a warehouse/yard.

Ideal candidate would be comfortable with lifting, moving, strapping materials - physical labor from 7am-4pm.
