HVAC Project Manager

Seeking commercial HVAC Project Manager to plan, control and oversee construction of multiple mid to large size mechanical projects. Local projects including design assist, new construction, and renovations. From purchasing to close out we are looking for a Candidate to control costs, communicate with clients, document progress, evaluate budgets, prepare monthly pay applications, establish quality control measures, review construction schedules and meet deadlines.

Manage multiple projects of various sizes and scopes and during different phases of completion

Buy out of materials and equipment and prepare purchase orders.

Work with Superintendents to manage labor productivity.

Work with clients establish schedules and to meet project durations.

Effectively communicate with clients, subs and vendors to maximize productivity.

Track submittals and close out documents.

Attend project meetings and facilitate on-site coordination.

Prepare monthly pay applications and project progress budgets.

Write scopes of work and delegate preparation of subcontracts and purchasing orders.

Maintain quality control and enforce safety procedures on project sites.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, construction or construction related project management and/or field experience in the Supervision and installation of commercial HVAC systems, estimating and system design.

Communication, computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
