I further attest that all information I submit in my employment application is true to the best of my knowledge.Job DescriptionJob Title: Systems SpecialistLocation: Thousand Oaks, CAAbout the role:As a Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for general administrative responsibilities within the Engineering Planning/Scheduling team. You will play an important part in CMMS (JE) system management, RAM database management, and documentation review. You will report to Supervisor, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling.How you will contribute:

Create new instruments in JDE and interface to Blue Mountain RAM including deactivating/obsoleting instruments, pulling calibrations.

Good Documentation (GDP) review of all preventative maintenance documentation, filing all engineering documentation and maintaining the plant services vault.

Create thermometer data and email results to engineering leaders, processing of some preventative maintenance extensions.

Identify inefficient processes, refine methods, and work with team on implementation.

Manage all instruments and equipment (assets) for the company including, but not limited to, creating assets, monitoring/correcting GDDP on forms, updating incorrect or newly acquired data, inactivating/retiring assets, tracking calibration work orders, and managing Preventative Maintenance schedules.

Work on multiple projects to create assets for new product manufacturing coming to the site.

Ensure assets contain the correct data and are in the correct status to perform calibrations.

Report out data and email results to engineering leaders, processing of some preventative maintenance extensions.

Demonstrate proficiency of the process to suggest improvements to new procedures or suboptimal processes.

Provide status reports to management to ensure transparency to the status of the monthly tasks, helping corrective actions be taken promptly.

Understanding of maintenance principal with an ability to deal with complex processes.

What you bring to Takeda:

High school degree required; bachelor's degree would be ideal.

2+ years of related experience.

Biotech manufacturing or maintenance experience would be ideal.

Requires a combination of sedentary work and walking around observing conditions in the facility.

Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 15 lbs.

Normal office environment.

May work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.

Will need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.

May work in a cold, hot or wet environment.

May work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.

May require overtime or be assigned to work a different shift as needed.
