Landscape Installation Crew Leader

LANDSCAPE INSTALLATION FOREMAN

$25 per hour to start.

Alpine Landscape is an established Landscape Design, Installation and Maintenance company in the Chico area. We are currently looking for Landscape Installation Foreman. We have been a leader in the landscape industry since our founding in 1990. We're looking for a Landscape Installation Foreman who shares our values of work ethic, quality, respect, integrity, honor, and results.

Qualifications:

Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work all day in all seasons.

Ability to effectively understand & communicate with supervisors & crew members.

Possess verifiable experience in Landscape Installation in a supervisory position.

Must have a valid CA driver's license and insurable driving record, no DUIs.

Eligible to work legally in the US

Landscape Installation Foreman work description:

Work independently and supervise up to three crewmen.

Read landscape plans.

Operate equipment, tractor, excavator, trencher, stump grinder, saws, drills, laser level, jackhammer, etc.

Plumbing, install irrigation and drainage systems.

Electrical, install landscape lighting systems and irrigation control wiring.

Masonry, install concrete flatwork and walkways, block and stone walls, etc.

Wood construction, fences, patio covers, small buildings.

Planting, identify species and plant properly. Sizes from 2” plugs to field grown trees.

Sodding and mulching.

This is a general job posting. Candidates might not have experience in all the work described above, we will train as needed.
