Employment Type: Part Time, start earning on average 20-30 dollars an hour.

Simple Service Solutions is looking to hire and train Hood Cleaning Technicians and Crew leads. There are part-time and possible full-time future positions available for the right candidates, with flexible hours. Excellent job growth/advancement opportunities are available.

No experience required; on-the-job training will be provided. However, previous mechanical, electrical, HVAC, pressure washing, janitorial cleaning, or kitchen exhaust hood cleaning experience is a plus. This is primarily night/evening work, with some morning and day jobs, during the week and weekend with hours that vary.

Technician/Crew lead must:

Have a valid Driver's License with a minimum of 3 years driving experience.

Have personal transportation to and from our central office in Greenville, SC or the job site.

Be able to pass national background check; no recent major infractions.

Crew lead must have a good driving record with no recent major infractions.

Crew lead candidates must be willing to use personal truck/SUV capable of pulling a small trailer to job sites; Fuel costs are reimbursed at .60 cents/mile.

Have a working cell phone and respond promptly to all calls/texts from management and be willing to use Google Drive to upload before and after pictures.

Have a professional appearance; work uniforms provided.

Pass a pre-employment drug screening; 10 panel not including THC.

Be dependable; able to show up on time, read and follow instructions.

Be physically fit; able to climb ladders, able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. at times.

Have excellent attention to detail, and be able to work quickly and efficiently.

Be able to work flexible hours; nights, early mornings, afternoon, and some weekends.

Be able to work safely in both hot, cold, and/or inclement weather.

Be able to complete work projects from start to finish with limited oversight.

Be fluent in English; able to communicate well with customers, management, and other team members.

Be able to learn new procedures quickly and efficiently to assist with the exhaust cleaning process.

Be comfortable on a ladder and able to get on and off of roof tops.

Job duties include:

The set-up and take-down of equipment including: hanging plastic sheeting, mixing chemicals, setting up ladders, wet/dry vacuums, pre-sprayers, garden hoses, and high-pressure hoses.

Pre-scraping greasy buildup from affected areas of kitchen exhaust systems.

Pressure washing the interior of kitchen exhaust systems (fans, ducts, hoods).

Final clean-up in kitchens by polishing the outside of hoods, wiping up any water splatter, mopping up the floors, rinsing off of roof/parking lot, etc.

Reporting mechanical deficiencies of customer and/or company equipment to management promptly and properly.

Uploading of pictures is required; before and after pictures of all areas are to be uploaded to Google Drive before leaving job.

Nightly maintenance/cleanliness of company tools, equipment, etc.

Perform any lockup procedure if required.
