Mechanical Design Engineer
Description:Perform geometrical integration of systems and components as well as geometry assurance.Complete vehicle geometry analysis of weight and dimensions.Deliver prerequisites and balanced solution geometry weight or dimensions in projects within QDCF Deliver prerequisites and balanced geometry- weight- or dimensions- solutions concerning platform technology development and project requirements. The scope is the product range across projects and over time. Secure long-term vehicle development towards strategic plans or road maps.Develop processes and tools for increased efficiency.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Would like someone with good cross-functional automotive engineering experience preferably with a focus on Heavy Duty trucks. I need someone who can lead/guide cross-functional teams to drive solutions for the product. As far as CAD, Catia's experience is preferred, but Creo would also be useful.Mechanical Engineer/Mechanical DesignerAutomotive experience, preferably cab experience Experience with coming up with design solutions with cross-functional teams-coordination for the teamThis engineer will come up with solutions and ideas before the initial designDesign for manufacturability knowledgeWill be working on anything related to the cab, anything that has paint on it, inside and outside of the cab, includes the hood, bumper, and grill Experience Level:Intermediate LevelAbout Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
