Field Mechanic – Heavy Civil/Demolition/Environmental Remediation

Western Wrecking was formed in 2013 and has been providing Heavy Civil Construction and Demolition to customers across Colorado. WW is currently looking for a Field Mechanic. The main yard is located on the west side of Arvada.

Duties:

-Oil and Filter Changes on Heavy Equipment, CDL Trucks and Light Trucks

-Hydraulic hose repair

-Basic welding and repair on buckets / blades / wear surfaces

-Diagnose electric, hydraulic and mechanical issues on all types of equipment

-Maintaining and swapping cutting edges and teeth on excavator and loader buckets

-Manage personal inventory or fluids and consumables

Qualifications:

-5+ years in repair and maintenance field

-Preferred 1+ year in construction related field as a service technician

-Valid Colorado drivers license and insurable driving record, CDL preferred

-HS Diploma + some service tech related trade schooling preferred

-$26-$38 per hour DOE
