Job DescriptionCome join Network and Edge Group's Software Engineering team (NSWE) and help shape the future of Edge Computing. We are looking for an experienced Operations professional or Chief-of-Staff to join a dynamic and versatile team of experts chartered with advancing Edge transformation in alignment with Intel's Edge Platform strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with the CVP/GM of NSWE to set the pace for the organization, drive efficient, high-quality output, and support a large organization as it stewards transformation for Intel and the industry.This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain a broad understanding of the prospects and challenges behind how we define, execute, and ultimately bring differentiated SW products to market. The Senior Director of Operations and Chief of Staff for the Corporate Vice President and General Manager of NSWE will play a critical leadership role advancing NSWE strategy and business impact, driving discipline and execution, and providing structure to the leadership team. In addition to these core functions, the responsibilities will also include preparing and managing content for decision-making forums, managing stakeholder relationships, and spearheading communications for internal and external audiences.Key Responsibilities:

Drive NSWE organization priorities; manage department objectives, key results, and indicators.

Drive SW development methodologies and execution process .

Assess risks, identify problem areas in execution, and improve execution collaboration between teams across the organization.

Lead strategic planning to ensure roadmap is executable, customer consumable, and affordable

Optimize team structure, team-to-team dynamics, and relationship building with key internal and external partners.

Prepare presentations (keynotes, customer engagement content, field communications, operations reviews, executive report outs, and open forums)

Drive organization culture, and play an active role in hiring, retention, and talent pipeline for NSWE

Create partnerships across NSWE Leadership Team, and partners in Platform, Si Engineering, and GTM Teams, as well as HR, Finance, Legal and central operations

Drive agendas for NSWE staff, leadership syncs, employee comms, etc.

Own defining the engineering rhythm of business, coordinate execution operations reviews, and drive end-2-end project management for shipping products.

Effective verbal and written communication skills

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

BS Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related field

10+ yrs of industry experience in the technology sector in engineering, software development lifecycle management, operations, or as a chief-of-staff

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience launching consumer products or delivering large software releases.

Experience developing software roadmaps for complex consumer products.

Experience building relationships and collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
