Porter - Overnight Part-Time

The Soho Diner located in the Soho Grand Hotel is seeking an experienced Porter for the part-time overnight shift to ensure a clean and workable kitchen, storage areas, dining room area and guest restrooms.

Essential Functions:

- Maintain the cleanliness of the Soho Diner

- Complete nightly checklist and weekly deep cleaning projects

- Use and store chemical and cleaning supplies

- Perform all other duties as assigned by management

Scope of Work:

Restaurant

Wipe down and clean bar

Sweep and mop behind bar

Take out bar mats prior to sweeping/mopping

Clean drains with appropriate chemicals

Wipe down all booths, tables and chairs

Pull out all furniture prior to sweeping/mopping

Bathrooms

Sweep and mop floors

Clean floor corners, behind toilet seats, behind sinks & trashcans

Wipe down mirrors, toilets, walls, soap dispensers and shelves

Empty waste receptacles/furnish and install plastic liners periodically
