Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server at Johnson Diner, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our guests, ensuring they have a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously
Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items
Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during meals and resolving any issues
Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including dining tables and service stations
Follow all health and safety regulations
Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation
Requirements:
Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Positive attitude and a team player
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Must be at least 18 years old
