DC Solar Electric Inc, a Division of the Stevens Family Companies has an opportunity for an Operations Coordinator. This position will offer you an exciting opportunity to help provide a clean, safe, and reliable source of electric power to light, cool/heat homes and schools, run factories, and provide goods and services that we all depend upon. This role will report to the President of Operations and Sales with a dotted line to the President of Construction. The position will have a high amount of interaction with office personnel and clients.

As an Operations Coordinator, you will:

-Coordinate and ensure processes are completed for all projects.

-Ensure all NEM applications are submitted, and PTOs obtained.

-Act as a liaison with applicants throughout the interconnection life cycle to provide guidance and assist in resolving any issues for applicants.

-Identify and mitigate queue process timelines and risks.

-Interface with and manage interconnection related third party engineers and other consultants as necessary.

-Work to ensure that we are delivering an excellent customer experience and post installation services are prompt.

-Post NEM approval, the customer gets an orientation.

-Customer is aware of Post installation services.

-Send out pre & post installation packets.

Service responsibilities:

-Review and manage monitoring platforms bi-weekly.

-Screen service calls to determine what action is required to resolve customer’s issue and schedule appointments.

Other duties assigned:

-Make plaques

-Site surveys

-Create material lists

-Order material, coordinate shipping and receiving

-Build and stage jobs in shop

-Use company’s CRM (Salesforce) system to document/update project status for each client.

-Apply for permits from different City, County and State offices.

-Handle SGIP (Self Generating Incentive Program) qualification and application process including collecting, completing, and submitting applicable SGIP documentation.

Education and Qualifications:

-High school diploma and beyond preferred.

-Minimum three (3) years relevant experience in residential/commercial construction; solar experience a plus.

-Knowledgeable of residential/commercial buildings design and materials.

-Clean DMV record.

-Reliable transportation for driving within State of California.

This is a full-time position.
