We are seeking a creative and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in the culinary arts. The focus of our business is Drop Off caters as well as On Site catering events. As we are not a Dine In restaurant, the pace of the kitchen is not under a lunch/dinner rush type of environment.
Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, food production, and quality control
- Follow recipes and prepare food according to company standard and established dishes
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation as well as cook on the line and train fellow staff members.
- Manage inventory, ordering, while watching cost control to meet budgetary goals
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with the event coordinator to accommodate special dietary needs
- Help plan and execute banquet events with precision and creativity
- Able to manage a timeline for an event from start to finish ensuring proper execution of menu chosen by the clients
- Delegating multiple tasks, good communication and leadership skills
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Have an amazing attitude, leaving problems at home and respecting other staff members and management.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a restaurant or Catering business, 4 years in culinary industry required
- Strong knowledge of food service management, including menu development and cost control
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- General understanding of banquet operations and catering services
- Certification in food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills

Pay: $20 to $30/hr based on experience
Housing: Housing is available within a 5 minute drive of work.
Shift:
Shift hours depend on the schedule, 5 days per week is usually standard throughout the season.
