Cooks for Hyde Park Cafe - Open Call Thursday and Friday

TrueNorth Cafe is looking for talented and hardworking cooks for our cafe at 1323 East 57th St in Hyde Park.

About You:

-Enjoys making and serving delicious sandwiches, paninis, smoothies, and other food items.

-Shows up to shifts on time and ready to work.

-Hardworking, responsible, and energetic.

-Likes interacting with customers and offers exceptional service

-Team player who is professional and courteous to coworkers. Avoids drama.

-Clean, sanitary, and organized.

-Prior experience preferred

-Sanitation Manager Certification and/or Food Handler Certification preferred

Responsibilities may include:

-Food prep and cooking

-Preparing sandwiches, paninis, salads, soups, smoothies, and more.

-Taking orders and serving customers

-Assisting in daily upkeep; maintenance of shop

-Cleaning up after yourself and making sure the cafe is well kept

-Complying with all health and safety regulations

-Surpassing customers' expectations
