Position: Kitchen Manager

Salary: $52,000/year (bi-annual raises of $1,000 contingent on work review)

About Us: We are a cozy, low-volume pizza restaurant passionate about creating delicious, high-quality food. We are looking for a Kitchen Manager who shares our love for food and can work closely with our team to bring new culinary ideas to life.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the owner to implement new menu ideas and contribute to menu creation.

Hire, train, and manage all kitchen staff, including handling scheduling and performance evaluations.

Maintain and monitor inventory levels, ensuring all ingredients and supplies are well-stocked.

Conduct regular grocery shopping and run errands as needed (must have a car).

Ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, demonstrating strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in the food industry.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work well with a diverse team.

Passionate about food, with a keen interest in pizza and menu innovation.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Reliable transportation for grocery shopping and errands.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
