Lead Cook at Poi Dog Deli

Poi Dog Deli is hiring for a Full Time Lead Cook! Come be a part of a positive team environment in an awards winning restaurant. Applicants must be available for 12p-8p shifts. The Deli is closed on Sundays and open Monday - Saturday 10:30a-6p. Position pays $23-$26/hr (includes tips). Health insurance included. Candidate requirements:

- At least 1 year cooking in a restaurant environment

- Be organized & clean

- Understand recipes and how to follow them

- Have positive communication with Servers, Cooks, and Management

- Be a team player

- Have a proactive mindset

- Have good knife skills including dicing & chopping

- Be familiar with kitchen cleanliness & food safety guidelines

Lead Cook Duties:

- Ensure menu items are crafted correctly on line

- Train new hires

- Ensure daily deep cleans are getting done

- Help clean and close up kitchen and restaurant

- Lock up and set alarm at night

- Be point of contact & leadership for team

- Help with prep as needed

- Help with monthly inventory

- Address issues as they arise
