Drywaller and Painter

Job Description

● Coordinate and manage on-site activities, materials needs and purchase requests pertaining to one's set tasks

● Work well with project team - no task is too small or too simple to complete

● Monitor and report on project progress pertaining to one's set tasks

● Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly

● Set performance goals for self and update project coordinator as needed

● On occasion, pick up materials

● Reasonably ensure client satisfaction

Work performance to include but not limited to:

1. Demolition

2. Drywall application and finishing

3. Painting

4. Light carpentry pertaining to painting and drywall (ie. blocking with wood to install drywall patch, reinstalling door and cabinet hardware, hanging mirrors)

5. Cleaning

6. Unloading and loading materials

Required Skills

● Read, write and speak English

● Be eligible for W2 employment with a valid driver's license and social security number

● Ability to be friendly and work well with other members of the team

● Good communication over text and phone

● Owning personal hand and power tools pertaining to one’s tasks (ie. drill, spackling tools)

● Attention to details and precision work

● Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

● Minimum 2-year labor experience required, preferably in a residential construction environment

● Ability to get to work weekdays 8-4:30

● Good driving record and reliable vehicle transportation to work

Compensation

● Full-time, 40-hours per week

● $18-24/hour depending on skill level

● Paid Holidays off - eligible following 3-month trial period

● One-week paid time off - eligible following 3-month trial period
