Temporary gardening position on permitted cannabis farm

Temporary gardening position currently available at a small legal cannabis farm in Trinity County.

This position starts Tuesday May 21 and is for 2 weeks to one month of work. Work includes pulling weeds, building beds, moving soil, planting. Work hours are early and late in the day (such as 8am-noon and 4-8pm) to avoid working in the mid-day heat.

Pay rate begins at $17 an hour, hard workers get paid more. Must be 21 or older with a valid drivers license. Must be able to lift 50lbs. No alcohol on site, no tobacco in the garden.

Employees are encouraged to live on site unless they have local housing. Simple temporary housing is provided, such as an older RV or a tent. We are off grid with solar and generator power, a hot outdoor shower, flushing toilet, delicious well water, an outdoor kitchen with stove, fridge, dishes, and a microwave.
