We are seeking a motivated individual who is energetic and excited about food. The right candidate will be knowledgeable about food production, sanitary standards, health and safety, and general hospitality. Must be able to effectively manage and motivate kitchen staff to be efficient and productive. This person will need to be able to maintain a positive attitude and encourage the growth of a healthy kitchen culture.
The restaurant is a casual and eclectic atmosphere, scratch made food, craft cocktails, and local brews. We have a growing team of eager individuals that can benefit from the right person helping and guiding them to success.
Responsibilities:
Managing kitchen staff
Managing clock-in and out times
Ordering and inventory management
Hiring and Training
Managing and adjusting kitchen processes
Collaborating on menu development
Regulating cleaning and maintaining sanitary practices
Tracking waste and budgeting food cost
Supervising and working along side kitchen staff
Effectively communicating with team members and management
Executing food orders and food quality
Operate with consistent and prompt ticket times
Required Qualifications:
ServSafe Certification
Oregon Food Handlers Card
OLCC Permit
5 years of kitchen management
Knowledge of kitchen equipment
Food knowledge, and culinary etiquette
Preferred (but not necessary) Qualifications:
Culinary Arts Degree
This is a full time job that will have a varying schedule, and will require flexibility with scheduling.
