Service Advisor/Assistant

PT can grow to Full Time $16-$18 hour.

Coastal Material Handling, 5478 Nansemond Parkway Suffolk, 23435, is looking for a qualified or trainable service advisor for our growing forklift division. This is a part time position with room for growth. Great job for former auto store workers and mechanically inclined.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

Familiar with mechanical parts, forklifts preferred.

Comfortable with service software-Tinnacity.

Able to take calls and set up services for customers.

Able to make service calls to existing customers.

Strong phone skills.

Check parts in and report any issues to the service manager.

Cycle count inventory for accurate counts.

The hours (totaling approx. 20 per week) are flexible as service manager needs. We do not work weekends but are on call. Service manager handles weekend emergency calls.
