Staff Accountant
Description Robert Half is partnering with a Las Vegas industry leader in their search for a Staff Accountant. Excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience is in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly accruals, journal entries, and financial reports
Record and verify Accounts Payable data
Process payments, check requests, and expense reports
Audit credit card bills and maintain vendor database
Reconcile Accounts Payable and other accounts
Assist with tax reporting, audits, and process improvements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of related Accounting experience
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to prepare tax reports
