Payroll Specialist / Human Resources

Eller Corporation a family-owned Heavy Civil construction company, is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Newman Lake, WA. We want people who are interested in developing a career with our well-established company.

The Position:

We are looking for an individual with payroll processing experience. Some human resources duties will also be included. We need them to have a strong knowledge of Excel and Adobe, be able to multi-task and keep tight deadlines, have strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain professional confidentiality. Experience with an integrated accounting system such as Viewpoint would be a definite plus. The perfect individual is dependable, positive, detailed, self starter, and a quick learner.

Work schedule will be Monday – Friday with flexible start times and DOE $25-$30 per hour.

Must Haves:

A minimum of 2+ years payroll processing experience

Excellent basic math skills

Detailed knowledge of Excel and Adobe

Ability to pass a drug test and complete a background check

Communicate well in a team-setting and with customers over the phone

Past experience with Viewpoint or comparable system and prevailing wage is a plus

Ability to hear, read, and speak fluent English with legible handwriting
